Heart of Gold Award

The 2010 award night was held on November 13 at the Port Augusta Golf Club.
Heart of Gold Award winners were Paul Smith, Helen Wohlschlager and Douglas Warren, who took out the award in the new youth category.

A great night was had by all and many thanks go to the major sponsors Nyrstar and Milhinch Jewellers as well as all the other sponsors, the organising committee and the selection panel.

In 2009 the awards were presented at a dinner held on the last Saturday in August. The evening began with pre-dinner drinks at 6pm and included a 3 course meal.

The winners received jewellery from Milhinch Hourglass, accommodation packages at Port Lincoln Foreshore Apartments from Seagrims Financial Planners and gift baskets with goods donated by businesses from around the region.

Bookfair - held in November 2009 to raise funds for Lifeline's 24 hour telephone counselling service

Blue meals during October - selected restaurants raised money by offering a special meal with $1 of the cost being donated to Lifeline

Custom Ride and Performance Social Club - bike and car rally held in the Gawler area on 31 October raising funds for Lifeline
