About Lifeline Gold Coast

As one of the fastest growing cities in the country, keeping up with demands of the ever growing community is a focus of Lifeline Gold Coast. With a growing community comes new and varied issues for citizens. Isolation, loneliness and lack of support are just some of the issues new residents are faced with. Lifeline’s counselling services are proven to be a valuable resource for facilitating positive change in people’s lives.

What many people don’t realise about Lifeline Gold Coast is that it offers much more to the local community than just 24 hour telephone counselling and retail stores. Lifeline Gold Coast provides a plethora of counselling services to those in need. Such as:

• Child youth and family counseling and groups
• Child and youth sexual abuse counselling
• Suicide prevention, intervention and bereavement support
• Financial Counselling
• Rural outreach counselling
• Community recovery from disasters
• Communities for children in the northern growth corridor of the Gold Coast.

We also run a large distribution centre which coordinates the collection of donated clothes, furniture and bric a brac to be sorted and transported to our various stores. Electrical repairs, rag sales and exporting also operate out of this centre. We also run various fundraising events throughout the year.
