Lifeline Northern Rivers is proud to acknowledge that we are on Bunjulung land and pay our respects and give thanks to the Bunjulung community.
Lifeline Northern Rivers services a population of approximately 233,000 people living on or close to the Far North Coast of New South Wales. Its area of operation runs from Murwillumbah in the north towards Casino in the south and west from the ocean to Kyogle and the Great Dividing Range. The region includes the shires of Tweed, Byron, Ballina, Lismore City and Richmond Valley.
It is almost time for our major annual fundraiser Walk the Walk 2012. Walk the Walk is a fun, family friendly event that raises money to support our life saving services and encourages a positive personal and community response to mental health challenges. Once again the Northern Rivers’ business community has been wonderfully supportive of our efforts and we are very grateful to them. For Walk the Walk 2012 our major sponsors are Essential Energy, Telstra Country Wide and Summit Health and Fitness with additional sponsorship from The Northern Star, The Northern Rivers Echo and Lismore City Heart and support from PRIME TV and Lismore City Council.
