Drought - Rural Help Seeking
First aired June 2007
This community service announcement was produced to highlight some of the challenges faced by people living in rural and remote Australian communities and to encourage help-seeking. Recent Lifeline call statistics suggest that around 65% of callers to 13 11 14 are from non-metropolitan areas. Many Australians in remote and rural communities are doing it tough due to drought and isolation issues. Help is available.
