Rural Mental Health Information
Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health is located in Orange, NSW. It is a major rural initiative of the University of Newcastle, Faculty of Health and the NSW Department of Health. The Centre aims to improve the mental health of rural and remote communities through academic leadership, collaboration and achievements in research, education, service development and information services.
The Office of Rural Health brings together the key areas from across the Department of Health and Ageing with responsibilities in rural health policy, rural health service delivery and rural workforce distribution, and has been designed to address a priority area for the Australian Government.
