Service given a Wyong lifeline
4/09/2008 12:00:00 AM - LIFELINE Central Coast has been gifted a new home for its Wyong operation. The organisation lost its Wyong shop when the heritage-listed Uniting Church was destroyed by fire on August 21.
Lifeline shops fund the organisation's services such as suicide prevention and crisis counselling.
This week, Central Coast Motor Group general manager Ian Mason offered Lifeline the use of the shopfront to his company's warehouse at 43 Howarth Street, Wyong, for the next six months.
Lifeline general manager Lesley West said she was thrilled to take up the offer.
Last week The Sun Weekly published Lifeline's public plea for assistance from Wyong businesses.
