ASIST Training for Trainers

The ASIST Training for Trainers (T4T) program is a one week course that provides basic preparation to become an ASIST trainer. It is an essential requirement for anyone wanting to provide ASIST. The course assumes prior training experience and that you you have already
attended the workshop. Trainer Manuals and other materials are provided during T4T. Read the following material carefully to ensure that you are clear about the requirements and commitments involved.

safeTALK Trainer Training

Regional one-day orientations for trainers seeking to provide safeTALK are being planned for 2008. Currently, this course is only available to ASIST trainers. Further information will be posted later this year. Contact our office for more information

This program is open and suitable for professionals and those in the community who are comitted to suicide intervention, willing to talk about suicide, able to present to a group and facilitate small group activities. Cost for this training event is $3,250.00 which includes all trainer materials, low ratio of trainer to participant, lunch for the five training days and ongoing trainer support. Transport and accommodation costs are not included.
