Lifeline Services

The Core Service of 24 Hour Telephone Counselling.

Staffed by voluntary counsellors, this service exists to provide a counselling service for people who are anxious, worried, depressed, lonely or troubled in any way. It is believed that a high proportion of troubled people will respond positively to being heard with understanding, and will muster their own problem solving capacities with that support. The service also has the capacity, through a Referral Data Base, to refer callers to other services where appropriate.

Training Courses

 We offer Volunteer Telephone Counsellor Courses twice a year. This year's courses start 21st February 2009 and late June/early July.
