Allan Caswell CD “Strong Enough”

Lifeline North West NSW is proud to announce the launch of the Allan Caswell CD/EP “Strong Enough”.

Mr John Brogden, CEO of Manchester Unity and former New South Wales Opposition Leader will be present at the launch of the CD. Mr Brogden became the Lifeline NSW Patron in May 2007.

“The EP “Strong Enough” has been written especially for Lifeline North West NSW by Gold Guitar winning artist Allan Caswell, will include four songs, and will form a major part of our fundraising for the coming year,” said Alison Burgess, Chief Executive Officer Lifeline North West NSW.

“The title song “Strong Enough” is a very heart felt song, on being strong enough to hold on to life through life’s difficulties, which I’m sure will strike a cord with all music lovers,” Mrs Burgess said.

Allan Caswell has a long history in Country Music, receiving his first Gold Guitar award in 1980 with King of the Rodeo, and has since gone onto win another six awards and two ARIAs.

“Lifeline North West NSW would like to thank local businesses who through sponsoring the CD have offset the majority of production costs,” Mrs Burgess said.

The CD’s sponsors are Jobs Australia, New England Credit Union, Rice Moore & Gibson Solicitors, Tamworth Conveyancing Services, Provet, Armidale Dumaresq Council, Photo Library, J C Spares, Armidale and Creeklands Veterinary Surgery, Armidale.

Lifeline nationally answers more than 1200 calls a day on our 24 hour phone counselling service 131114. At least 30 of these calls each day are made by people calling us with thoughts of suicide.

All of us at Lifeline are deeply committed to helping people in crisis.  The funds raised from this CD will be used for suicide prevention and education and our telephone counselling service.
