Lifeline's Big Book Fair
2008 Spring Lifeline Big Book Fair
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped with the 2008 Spring Big Book Fair. An incredible $75,000 was raised and will go toward maintaining Lifeline South Coast's 24-hour telephone counselling service.
A special thanks to our volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure the event was such a success. They emptied donation bins; sorted, priced and packed books; collected empty boxes, filled them with more books and then unpacked them; researched old books; answered phones, made appointments and photocopied all kinds of things; removed rubbish and recycled everything they could; made plans and changed them; kept doing all the other things they'd normally do; welcomed new volunteers; set-up tables and opened the doors to a great event!
We would also like to thank our valued sponsors and supporters.
