Send a Lifeline eCard this Christmas.
This year - instead of sending paper cards, send Lifeline’s Christmas eCard to your friends, family or work contacts. You’ll save time and hassle - and promote Lifeline’s good work. Our eCard message this year is ‘What Gift can you give for $1 this Christmas’ - we ask that you make a donation of $1 or more for each person you will send the card to. Sound ok? then read on...

How does the eCard work?
- Once you have decided how many people are receiving your card, make a donation to Lifeline using our online donation form. Make sure your include your email address on the donation form, and mention ‘Christmas eCard’ in the comment box.
- We will send you an email with simple instructions on how to create your card.
- Once the card is ready, you will be issued with a special webpage address that will show your personalised version of the card.
- Include this website address in an email to your eCard recipients to send your Christmas wishes (and show your support for Lifeline too!).
Why do I need to send an email?
After some careful thought, we decided it would be better to leave sending the email up to you. This is for a few good reasons,
- Privacy - you don’t need to share the email addresses of your friends, family or business contacts with us.
- Spam - If Lifeline sent the eCard on your behalf, there is a high likelihood that many of the cards would be blocked by aggressive spam filters. This is less likely if the eCard comes from your address.
- Personal Touch - By sending the email yourself, the emails will come from your name and email address. You can also include a more lengthy message in the body of your email if you wish.
Ready to get started?
Start by making a donation to Lifeline using our secure online form. Donations of more than $2 are tax deductible. You will receive a tax invoice immediately via email. Please allow us 2 business days to get back to you with info on the next step.
