Lifeline Northern Rivers

Lifeline Northern Rivers is proud to acknowledge that we are on Bunjulung land and pay our respects and give thanks to the Bunjulung community.

Lifeline Northern Rivers services a population of approximately 150,000 people living on or close to the Far North Coast of New South Wales. Its area of operation runs from Murwillumbah in the north towards Casino in the south and west from the ocean to Kyogle and the Great Dividing Range. The region includes the shires of Ballina, Byron, Kyogle, Lismore City and Richmond Valley and part of Tweed.

Lifeline’s 13 11 14 crisis support service is supported by the NSW Health Ministry.

Lifeline Northern Rivers raises over 60% of the annual running costs of its counselling centre through its retail arm and community fundraising. In 2012 we have received much-appreciated financial support from a wide range of businesses, both local and national, including Essential Energy, Telstra Country Wide, Summit Health and Fitness, The Northern Star, The Northern Rivers Echo and Lismore Come to the Heart.
