Lifeline wishes Chairman quick recovery
The Board and management of Lifeline Australia, and no doubt thousands of Lifeline volunteers, strongly support our Chairman, John Brogden AM, as he recovers from ill health.
John has made a massive contribution to mental and emotional wellbeing and suicide prevention, through Lifeline and through personally supporting hundreds of people in their time of need. He embodies the Lifeline ethic of compassion.
It is only fitting that our organisation now be there fully for him, his extraordinary wife and carer Lucinda Brogden, and his family. We look forward to John returning to health and resuming his leadership role for Lifeline and suicide prevention.
For 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention services, please call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or visit www.lifeline.org.au/gethelp.
No further comment will be made on this matter out of respect for John and his family at this time.
