Community volunteering

There are number of ways to volunteer your time and skills with Lifeline on a local level through our 40 centres operating around the nation. By connecting with others locally, you are contributing to making a positive difference nationally.

Ways to volunteer for Lifeline in the community

As Australia's largest suicide prevention service, Lifeline relies on local volunteers to support our community initiatives that enable Lifeline to support people in crisis, no matter where they are, 24 hours a day. If you enjoy giving back to your local community and connecting with others, then you can help us save lives.

We are always looking to recruit, onboard, and train new volunteers.  Learn what it takes to become a volunteer Crisis Supporter and keep people safe.
