Suicide Bereavement Support Group
When someone close to you dies by suicide it can be difficult to engage in everyday life when you are confronted by grief, confusion and ever-changing emotions.
This program will provide education, mutual support and coping development to assist group members in understanding the grief that follows suicide. The program will present a range of strategies and ideas that may help to minimise the stress, confusion and difficulties with continuing life after death by suicide of a loved one.

August 2018 Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
Attend a two day workshop on Friday August 17 and Saturday August 18 2018 and learn to apply a suicide intervention model. It helps caregivers recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide. It then explores how to connect with them in ways that understand and clarify that risk, increase their immediate safety and link them with further help.
The event flyer is here. The cost is $330.00 (GST excl) per person. A light lunch is included on both days.
Keep watching the website for more ASIST workshop information or ask to be on our mailing list.
