Cristina’s journey with Lifeline began in an unexpected moment – sitting in an Emergency Department, exhausted and overwhelmed while caring for a loved one. Frustrated and unsure where to turn, she made a call that changed everything. A compassionate Lifeline crisis supporter listened, offering empathy and understanding through the night.

That call stayed with Cristina, reinforcing the power of connection and support.

Today, she is a passionate lived experience advocate, working to break the stigma around psychosis and mental illness. She’s here to share her story and remind us that no one has to go through their darkest moments alone.
