Community perspectives

While suicide can affect any of us, there are a range of factors that can make it harder for people in some communities to seek and access support.

At Lifeline, we are here for you. We are here to listen without judgement, and with respect and compassion. Regardless of your age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, cultural or religious background we will listen to and support you. We acknowledge that people are the experts in their own lives and that everyone is unique, offering a rich and diverse set of values, beliefs and experiences that make our society what it is today. If you, or someone you care about is experiencing a crisis please reach out to us for support.

Whilst we are here to listen and support each valuable member of our society, we acknowledge that there are other specialised supports and information available that may be more suited to you, or the needs of your loved one. For further information on available resources and specialised supports please see below.
