What to expect
Our crisis support service is delivered entirely by trained crisis supporters. When you begin and before connecting with a crisis supporter – you will be asked some automated questions about info such as your age and location, but these are optional.
Sometimes, there is a queue, and you might have to wait for the next available crisis supporter. While you wait, an automated messaging service will let you know that you are still in the queue. We will always let you know when you are connected with a real person for support. It’s important to us that you always speak with a real person, and that’s why you might have to wait sometimes.
You can text with your crisis supporter about anything that's on your mind – no matter how overwhelming, they are there to listen.
