Available 24/7, MensLine Australia is a free and confidential counselling, information, and referral service for men in Australia with family, relationship, and mental health concerns.

MensLine Australia’s counselling team consists of qualified professional counsellors, social workers, mental health nurses, and psychologists who are all trained to listen to you, understand what you’re going through and help you find ways to feel better.

You can ask a MensLine Australia counsellor to help you find information, strategies, and support services for things like:


Who they're for

MensLine Australia is for all men and all types of relationships.

This includes men who:

  • Want to enhance or better manage difficulties in a relationship with their wife, partner, children, friends, work colleagues, or anyone else in their life
  • Have concerns about being a dad and want to improve their parenting skills
  • Are dealing with relationship problems, a separation, divorce, or family breakdown
  • Have concerns about emotional wellbeing or anger management challenges
  • Have concerns about depression, anxiety, or other mental health conditions
  • Are worried they might use violence in a relationship
  • Are experiencing domestic and family violence.

MensLine Australia is also for anyone concerned about a male family member, partner, or friend, as well as health professionals working with men.

Currently, MensLine Australia’s counselling service is delivered in a single session. Depending on eligibility, you may have the option for multi-sessions.

Note: MensLine Australia is only available to people living in Australia aged 15 years and older (18 years and older for video chat).
